Cord

Our cords can be supplied in a very wide range of colours, in materials including jute, cotton, rayon, polyester and polypropylene. There is also a special polypropylene cord for lighting applications.

Cord can be supplied in cut lengths or on the reel, and with a range of ends in either plastic or metal (see pictures below).

Typical applications include earplug cords, spectacle cords, lighting-louvre safety cords, wrist straps, lanyards, cord bows, pre-tied loops and swing-ticket loops.

Buying cut lengths of cord in bulk is normally cheaper than single-piece cutting, and very large quantities can be cut in a very short time.

Cords can be made into bows for decorating packaging and greetings cards or as fashion accessories, and much more.

Types of metal end

Ends (also known as 'barbs') can be supplied in tinned steel, solid brass or brass-effect (except for dog-clips and lanyard clips, which are steel).

  • As treasury tags (with metal ends)
  • As T-bar loops (with metal ends)

Polypropylene cord

  • Width - 2, 3, 4, 5mm
  • Colours Available - Black & white from stock; 20 other colours available.
  • Ends Available - Cut lengths, reels, treasury tags (with metal or plastic ends), carry handles, and as lighting cord.

Cotton Cord

  • Width - 2mm
  • Colours Available - Green yellow, red, orange, purple
  • Ends Available -  Cut lengths, reels, treasury tags (with metal or plastic ends), and spear/spear & sheath tags

Rayon Cord

  • Width - 2, 3, 4, 5mm
  • Colours Available - 32
  • Ends Available - Cut lengths, reels, treasury tags (with metal or plastic ends), carry handles

Jute Cord

  • Width -  1.5, 2, 3, 5mm
  • Colours Available - Natural
  • Ends Available - Cut lengths, reels, treasury tags (with metal ends), carry handles

Polyester 

  • Width - 2, 6mm
  • Colours Available - 15
  • Ends Available - Cut lengths, reels, treasury tags (with metal ends), carry handles
